About the event

This 2-hour workshop includes a yoga flow and meditation that will focus on taking a tauma informed approach to healing the wounded child within.

This workshop is focused on helping you work through trauma may have experienced as a child, or figuaratively, as in healing yourself from current stress or recent trauma.

We all have our child-like self within. We will carry this child with us for the rest of our lives. This child needs love, attention, understanding, and compassion.

We often look outside of ourselves for help. Although seeking help from professionals will always be advised, accompanying whatever it is that you are working through with meditation and movement is also advisable.

Movement helps to release tramua and stress that is stored in our muscles.

Meditation using imagery helps us to feel the love and security we are seeking. The cool thing about using imagery to heal is that our brains can not tell the difference between reality or imagery. This is why it's so important to be mindful of your thoughts.

This class is led by a qualified addictions counselor, qualified yoga instructor, and reiki practitioner.

Healing takes a team, and that team needs to include holistic approaches.

Let's heal that wounded child within, but ogether.

You are not alone <3

Namaste,

Tahea Mack
