Talking about oneself can be a tricky subject, but I have learned to conquer this challenge through my practice of yoga. I have come to realize that it's not about seeking pity or appearing arrogant but rather embracing mindfulness, guidance from a higher power, and faith in my own abilities. Yoga has been a game-changer for me, especially after being diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I used to be passionate about weightlifting and even owned a fitness company that offered pole dancing, aerobics, Zumba, and stretching. However, due to my condition, I had to give up weightlifting and seek other forms of fitness. That's when I discovered yoga, which not only helped me stay fit but also didn't trigger my symptoms. This inspired me to pursue my 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Mindful Restoration and equipped me with the necessary skills to help others dealing with chronic pain, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and more. With my education in paramedicine, addictions counseling, yoga therapy, Reiki, and sound bath healing, I can connect with my clients on a deeper level and understand their needs. My approach is to build trust with my clients and meet them where they are at without pushing them beyond their limits. I am excited to share my experiences with others and help them achieve overall well-being.
